August Gaming today announced that after independent testing by leading test laboratory iTech Labs, their Random Number Generator (RNG) has been formally certified as fair and fully comply with industry and technical specifications for gaming jurisdictions for UK Gambling Commission, PAGCOR, First Cagayan and North Cagayan standards.
August Gaming uses well-known public domain PRNG algorithms, which is the core of their slot game titles. According to iTech Labs certification process, the numbers generated by this RNG, have passed Marsaglia’s “diehard” tests for statistical randomness.
iTech Labs’ RNG evaluation consists of verifying of the following:
- Statistical randomness
- Internal state of the RNG
- Seeding, re-seeding and cycling
- Unpredictability and non-repeatability
- Usage of random numbers including scaling and shuffling
